SONY PICTURES TELEVISION RUSSIA ON THE CONTINUATION OF THE HIT TV SERIES AND ON THE LAUNCHING OF THE LOCAL VERSION OF "THE GOOD WIFE"
The list of TV-series produced by Sony Pictures Television Russia includes dozens of projects. Among the most popular ones are "Poor Nastya", "My Fair Nanny", "Happy Together", "Who’s the man of the house?", "The Eighties", "The Voronins" are known all over the country. The premiere episodes of "The Midwife. New Life" and "The Code" aired in a very competitive prime time slot. However, both shows found a very loyal audience and set a new record in ratings. Tricolor TV Magazine spoke with the CEOs of Sony Pictures Television Russia, Mikhail Rossolko and Vladimir Utin about the future of the existing projects, new format hits and the situation on the global market.
What is your production strategy for the near future?
Vladimir Utin: We’re planning on producing more hot TV-series and export them to the global market. It won’t be just my personal success. It will be a collective success of our company and our country.
Mikhail Rossolko: I agree with Vladimir. The development of an international production company is a big challenge. And we want to be the best at what we do.
